JOFA - Uganda seeks to mitigate the causes and effects of low income earners through educational development, Evangelism, leadership development, Relief support and advocacy. JOFA - Uganda started way back in 2006 through Julius Othieno family support funds to offer school fees and relief aid to two children from karamoja north eastern region the most disadvantage region in Uganda. Also the Julius othieno family support funds have been supporting the few young pastors in Jinja district in eastern Uganda. Since then Julius family never looked back. It’s upon this back ground that JOFA was officially born in 2020 the year of our lord and incorporated and registered with NGO Board as Non Governmental organization...
Community projects based on grants from mainly family and friends have been identified and implemented in different development sectors including, farming, and Covid-19 emergency response, provision of water and skill training and leadership development.
To holistically enlighten the under privileged by empowering them with the Word of God and deeds to overcome trivial situations.
Envision communities in which the most vulnerable people will have the skills and power to lift themselves from poverty and create vital, healthy living for their families now and for the future.

Dependable: Being faithful, punctual, reliable, teachable is every one’s role.
Compassion: Think about the last time someone helped a door open for you. Was it at a store when your hands were full with shopping bags? No matter where it took place, chances are you were grateful to the person who held the door for you because it was one less task you had to worry about as you were moving to your next destination. At JOFA we believe in practicing acts of kindness.
Empowerment: Aim at making beneficiaries feel important in their roles by inspiring them to take more responsibilities and create a more positive work environment for everyone involved.
Stewardship: It is about using your gifts and talents to better other’s lives so that your own is full and joyful. (Mathew 25:14-30) teaches that we will be held accountable for how we care for what God has entrusted to us.
